T Levels for

Media, Broadcast and Production

In our Industry Excellence Academy, you can study the brand-new Media, Broadcast and Production T Level qualification or Transition Programme. The T Level has been developed in collaboration with employers, and combines theory, practical and classroom learning with a minimum 45-day industry placement. If you opt to take a T Level, you will spend 20% of your time on an industry placement and 80% in the classroom.

Our T Level and Transition Programme will enable you to develop a general understanding of the Media, Broadcast and Production sector. Topics covered include: the creative economy, cultural context, audience and consumer needs, legal and regulatory requirements and professional standards. We aim to help students demonstrate their creativity and teamwork and think like creative media professionals.

T Levels are Level 3, two-year technical programmes that provide you with a high-quality alternative to A Levels.

If you haven’t quite achieved the grades for a T Level there is the option of a Transition Programme, which are Level 2, one-year programmes that will then allow you to progress on to a T Level.
