T Levels for

Construction

At our Industry Excellence Academy, you can study one of the brand-new Construction T Level qualifications or Transition Programmes. They have been developed in collaboration with employers, and combine theory, practical and classroom learning with a minimum 45-day industry placement. If you opt to take a T Level, you will spend 20% of your time on an industry placement and 80% in the classroom.

Demand is high for skilled trades people, construction managers, quantity surveyors and more in Greater Manchester, offering young people endless opportunities in the construction industry. You’ll be learning in a fully simulated working environment with industry standard equipment, which includes 25 specialist construction workshops and bespoke areas for scaffolding, refrigeration, and fire sprinkle installation to name a few.

T LEVEL COURSES

T Levels are two-year Level 3 technical programmes that provide you with a high-quality alternative to A Levels.

TRANSITION PROGRAMMES

If you haven’t quite achieved the grades for a T Level there is the option of a Transition Programme, which are Level 2, one-year programmes that will then allow you to progress on to a T Level.
