At our Centre of Excellence for Sport you will equip yourself with the range of skills, abilities and knowledge that you will need for a job in this exciting sector. You’ll combine exercise with learning about nutrition, sport science and psychology, channelling your passion for keeping fit and healthy living into an exciting sport-related career.

What’s more you will benefit from state-of-the-art exercise physiology facilities, a fully equipped gym, custom-built football centre, pulsometres and microspirometres, and specialist scientific tools like cortex metalyzer gas analysis, blood lactate, cholesterol and glucose measurements.

Depending on your level of study you will also complete up to 2 weeks' work experience with one or more than one employer; this can either be completed in separate days throughout your course or in a single block.  You’ll also receive dedicated ‘employability’ sessions that will equip you with the skills that you’ll need to thrive in the workplace.
