Centre of excellence for hair & beauty

In our Centre of Excellence for Hair and Beauty you’ll gain all the skills required to make a career out of helping people look and feel good.  You’ll train in professional-standard salons on campus, each fully stocked with all the products and equipment you’d expect to find in any commercial salon.

As your skills advance, you’ll also be able to work with paying clients in our North and South Manchester Studios of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. Our Centre also has links with big brands such as Wella and Eve Taylor meaning you’ll benefit from their industry input. 

Depending on your level of study you will complete up to 2 weeks' work experience with one or multiple employers, in either a single block or on seperate days during your course. You’ll also receive  ‘employability’ sessions that will equip you with the skills that you’ll need to thrive in the workplace. 

When you complete your journey in our Centre of Excellence for Hair and Beauty you will have all the skills you need to be ‘work ready’ and the qualifications you need to take the next steps towards an amazing career.
