Centre of excellence for Automotive

If a career in automotive gets your motor racing but you don’t yet have the qualifications required for our Industry Excellence Academy, you’ll be able to start your journey to an exciting career in our Centre of Excellence for Automotive.

You’ll work in our 4,500 square metre state-of-the-art facilities on industry-specific training vehicles, learning the skills required to move through the gears into a rewarding career. You’ll cover everything from basic maintenance and bodywork to diagnositics and fitting vehicle components.

Depending on your level of study you will complete up to 2 weeks' work experience with one or multiple employers, in either a single block or on seperate days during your course. You’ll also receive ‘employability’ sessions that will equip you with the skills that you’ll need to thrive in the workplace.

When you complete your journey in our Centre of Excellence for Automotive you’ll be able to progress into the Academy under the guidance of our expert team.

Available Courses

While studying at our Centre of Excellence you can obtain qualifications ranging from Entry Level and Level 3 certificates through to Extended Diplomas. If you haven’t already obtained a Grade 4 GCSE in English or maths you’ll also study to achieve this level of qualification, which is a mandatory requirement of your course and essential for many careers.

In our Centre of Excellence for Automotive you’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of this sector and gain work experience with industry leaders.
