Industry EXCELLENCE ACADEMY FOR Construction & Engineering

In our Industry Excellence Academy for Construction and Engineering, you’ll start to build the skills base required for a fully developed career in these exciting sectors.

You’ll be learning in fully simulated working environments and with industry-standard equipment, which includes 7 specialist construction work areas, including bespoke areas for building services engineering, on-site construction, and design, surveying and planning to name a few.

What’s more, if a career in construction and engineering appeals to you but you aren’t yet ready for our Industry Excellence Academy, you’ll be able to put in place solid foundations for a career in this sector in our Centre of Excellence for Construction and Engineering. Here you’ll be able to gain the skills required to progress into the Academy under the guidance of our expert team.

Once you’ve completed your journey with us there are a number of different career options open to you in the construction and engineering sector, ranging from Joiners who earn on average £28,300 a year, to Engineering Technicians with an average annual salary of £34,700.

Available Courses

In our Industry Excellence Academy for Construction and Engineering you’ll take a course that has been co-developed, and is co-delivered, by one of our leading industry partners. You’ll complete either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification and a placement with an industry employer of at least 15 days.

By the time you complete your time in the Industry Excellence Academy for Construction and Engineering you’ll have developed an in-depth knowledge of this sector and gained work experience with industry leaders.
